Seward High School’s Daily Announcements:

May 17, 2018

  • The Boys and Girls Soccer Teams are heading to Regions in Soldotna at 11:45 a.m. TODAY.
  • We just received the news yesterday that 19 Seward High Tracksters have qualified for the Region III Championships in Houston this weekend. The big news though, is that hurdles coach, Aaron Sorenson has placed five girls in the 300 hurdles.  Elissa Turner and Ally Chryss are the number one and two seeds.  Malia Hewitt, Anevay Ambrosiani, and Hana (The heiress of Goat Haven Estates) Cooney will also be fast stepping hurdles tomorrow in hopes of making the finals on Saturday.  During Regions, all 19 of these kids will be looking to run, throw or jump into one of the top 16 performances in the State, which will give them a berth into the Alaska State Championships in Palmer next weekend.

The Team will leave at 8 a.m. TOMORROW morning.

  • REMINDER: The last day for school lunches will be Monday, May 21st. Students that signed up for sack lunches before May 11th will be served a sacked lunch on Tuesday, May 22nd.
  • Tomorrow is our last Spirit Point Friday of this school year! Come to the office to get your Spirit Point and the chance to win the next pizza!  Sponsored by the Seward Seahawks Athletic Booster Club.
